Job Summary We are seeking an energetic and dedicated Pre-Kindergarten Lead Teacher to inspire young learners and foster a vibrant, nurturing classroom environment. As a key educator, you will design engaging curriculum, implement developmentally appropriate activities, and support the social-emotional growth of preschool children. Your passion for early childhood education will help lay a strong foundation for children's future learning and development. Duties Develop and implement creative, developmentally appropriate lesson plans aligned with early childhood education standards, including literacy, math, physical education, and social skills. Create a safe, inclusive classroom environment that promotes positive behavior management and classroom management strategies. Engage children in hands-on activities that support child development instruction, including language acquisition, motor skills, and social-emotional learning. Collaborate with colleagues to plan curriculum enhancements and participate in ongoing professional development related to special education, early intervention, and childhood development. Communicate regularly with parents and guardians about their child's progress, behavior, and developmental milestones through meetings and written updates. Ensure compliance with mandated reporting laws and maintain accurate records of student progress and assessments. Support children's physical well-being by administering first aid and CPR when necessary, following health and safety protocols. Qualifications Proven experience working with children in preschool or daycare settings, demonstrating strong classroom experience. Knowledge of curriculum development, literacy education, math instruction, and behavior management techniques suitable for young learners. Familiarity with special education practices, early intervention strategies, and childhood development principles. Certification in first aid and CPR required; ongoing professional development in early childhood education preferred. Excellent communication skills to effectively engage with children, parents, colleagues, and community partners. Ability to manage a classroom effectively while fostering a positive learning environment that supports child welfare.
