Position Title:

Short Term Substitute Elementary Teacher - Grade 3

Anticipated Employment Date:

December 3, 2026 to February 5, 2026

Anticipated Work Location/Hours:

Kaegebein Elementary, 8:35 AM to 3:35

PM Salary:

Per diem $170 with increase/retroactive to collective bargaining agreement after 40 days.

Duties:

Provide classroom instruction within an integrated co-teaching setting. Create and design lessons aligned to district curriculum and the NYS Next Gen Standards.

Minimum Qualifications:

1. Possess NYS Certification Childhood Education 1-6; and/or Pre-K-6. 2. Experience with Magnetic Reading, Ready Math and the iReady interface. 3. Ability to cooperate and collaborate with co-teacher, grade level team and special area teachers.

Qualifications Desired:

1. Experience within integrated co-teaching 2. Familiarity of Writer's and Reader's workshop 3. Experience with data tracking and using data to drive instruction 4. Experience working with students with disabilities. 5. Strong work ethic and dependability.
