Assess student progress regularly through formative and summative evaluations; provide constructive feedback to support growth. Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and specialists to develop individualized education plans (IEPs) for students requiring additional support. Maintain accurate records of attendance, assessments, and behavioral incidents; ensure compliance with school policies. Foster a nurturing environment that promotes early childhood education principles and supports holistic childhood development. Requirements Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field; advanced certifications or specialized training in special education or Montessori methods preferred. Proven classroom experience working with children across various age groups in elementary settings. Demonstrated expertise in curriculum development, implementation, and lesson planning tailored to diverse learners. Strong classroom management skills combined with effective communication skills for engaging students, parents, and colleagues. Experience working with individuals with disabilities—including developmental disabilities and autism—and implementing inclusive teaching strategies. Knowledge of behavior management techniques suitable for early childhood education environments. Ability to adapt instructional methods based on student needs and learning styles; creative problem-solving skills are essential. Familiarity with literacy education strategies and curriculum organization for young learners. Prior experience in private school settings or Montessori classrooms is advantageous but not mandatory.
