Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a passionate and energetic Pre-Kindergarten Teacher to inspire and nurture young learners during their foundational educational years. In this vital role, you will create a warm, engaging classroom environment that fosters early childhood development, literacy, social-emotional skills, and a love for learning. Your enthusiasm and dedication will help children develop essential skills through innovative lesson planning, interactive activities, and personalized support. Responsibilities Develop and implement dynamic curriculum plans that promote early childhood education, including literacy, math, physical education, and social skills. Create a safe, inclusive classroom environment that encourages curiosity, independence, and positive behavior management. Engage children in age-appropriate activities that support child development instruction and foster a love for learning. Communicate regularly with parents or guardians to discuss student progress, behavioral concerns, and developmental milestones. Manage classroom routines effectively, including transitions, discipline strategies, and individualized attention for children with special education needs or requiring early intervention. Ensure compliance with mandated reporting laws and maintain accurate documentation of student progress and assessments. Incorporate best practices in toddler care and childhood development to support diverse learning styles and developmental stages. Requirements Proven experience working with children in preschool or early childhood education settings. Knowledge of curriculum development, classroom management techniques, and behavior management strategies. Familiarity with special education principles, early intervention programs, and mandated reporting laws. Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with parents, colleagues, and administrators. Certification in first aid and CPR is required; additional certifications in childhood development or special education are a plus. Experience teaching physical education or implementing standardized testing is advantageous. Demonstrated ability to create engaging lesson plans tailored to preschool-aged children's developmental needs. Pay:
