Communicate regularly with parents or guardians to discuss student progress, behavioral concerns, and developmental milestones. Manage classroom routines effectively, including transitions, discipline strategies, and individualized attention for children with special education needs or requiring early intervention. Ensure compliance with mandated reporting laws and maintain accurate documentation of student progress and assessments. Incorporate best practices in toddler care and childhood development to support diverse learning styles and developmental stages. Requirements Proven experience working with children in preschool or early childhood education settings. Knowledge of curriculum development, classroom management techniques, and behavior management strategies. Familiarity with special education principles, early intervention programs, and mandated reporting laws. Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with parents, colleagues, and administrators. Certification in first aid and CPR is required; additional certifications in childhood development or special education are a plus. Experience teaching physical education or implementing standardized testing is advantageous. Demonstrated ability to create engaging lesson plans tailored to preschool-aged children's developmental needs.
