Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a passionate and energetic Pre-Kindergarten Teacher to inspire and nurture young learners during their foundational years. Responsibilities Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum plans that incorporate early childhood education principles, including literacy, math, physical education, and social skills. Create a safe, welcoming classroom environment that encourages exploration, creativity, and positive behavior management. Conduct child development assessments to tailor instruction and support individual learning needs, including those requiring special education or early intervention services. Communicate regularly with parents and guardians to share progress updates, behavioral observations, and developmental milestones. Manage classroom routines efficiently, ensuring smooth transitions between activities and maintaining high standards of classroom management. Follow mandated reporting laws by documenting concerns related to child welfare or safety issues promptly and accurately. Incorporate inclusive practices for toddlers and children with diverse needs while adhering to best practices in childhood development instruction. Facilitate activities that promote physical health and motor skills development through play and structured exercises. Maintain lesson plans aligned with educational standards Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations by maintaining first aid and CPR certifications as required. Experience Prior experience working with young children in a preschool or daycare setting is preferred. Demonstrated expertise in curriculum development tailored for early childhood learners. Knowledge of special education strategies, early intervention techniques, and behavior management approaches. Proven classroom management skills that foster positive behavior and engagement among preschool students. Experience communicating effectively with parents or guardians about child progress and classroom activities. Familiarity with childhood development milestones, mandated reporting laws, and health & safety protocols such as first aid and CPR certifications. Previous experience working in private schools or daycare environments enhances familiarity with diverse educational settings. Pay:
$14.56 - $16.48 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
