Duties Develop and implement comprehensive lesson plans aligned with curriculum standards across subjects such as literacy education, math, science, and social studies. Foster a nurturing classroom atmosphere that promotes positive behavior management and inclusive learning for all students. Utilize learning technology and innovative teaching methods to enhance student engagement and understanding. Assess student progress through standardized testing, formative assessments, and regular observations; adjust instruction accordingly to support individual learning styles. Mentor and support students' social-emotional development while collaborating with parents, guardians and colleagues to ensure holistic growth. Integrate Christian beliefs and values into instruction. Incorporate early childhood education principles where appropriate to create a stimulating learning environment. Manage classroom routines efficiently, ensuring safety, discipline, and a respectful atmosphere conducive to active learning. Skills Proven classroom experience is a plus (though not required), with strong classroom management skills that foster an organized and positive learning environment. Expertise in curriculum development, lesson planning, and literacy education to support diverse learner needs is a plus. Strong communication skills for working effectively with students, parents and colleagues. Proficiency in using learning technology tools to facilitate interactive lessons and track student progress. Strong writing skills for creating clear instructional materials, reports, and assessments. Experience with elementary school settings and familiarity with behavior management techniques is a plus.
