Responsibilities Develop and implement engaging Montessori curriculum tailored to the developmental needs of young children, including toddlers and preschoolers Design lesson plans that incorporate literacy education, math, physical education, and social-emotional learning strategies Manage classroom behavior effectively through positive reinforcement and behavior management techniques Foster a safe, inclusive, and stimulating environment that encourages exploration and independence Communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding student progress, behavior, and developmental milestones Ensure compliance with mandated reporting laws related to child welfare and safety standards Conduct assessments aligned with standardized testing where applicable to monitor student growth in various domains Collaborate with colleagues on curriculum development, classroom activities, and early intervention strategies for children requiring additional support Skills Extensive experience working with children in early childhood education settings, including preschool or toddler care environments Strong knowledge of child development instruction, childhood development principles, and early intervention techniques Proficiency in curriculum development across multiple subjects such as literacy education, math, physical education, and social skills Excellent classroom management skills to maintain an organized and positive learning atmosphere Effective communication skills for parent engagement and team collaboration Familiarity with mandated reporting laws and child welfare policies to ensure safety compliance First aid and CPR certification to respond promptly to emergencies Experience teaching physical education activities that promote motor skills development Ability to adapt lessons for children with special needs or requiring individualized educational plans (IEPs) Private school experience or familiarity with Montessori teaching methodologies is preferred but not required Join us in shaping the future by nurturing young minds through innovative teaching practices rooted in Montessori principles.
