We are currently seeking to hire a highly dedicated first-grade long-term substitute. Our Ideal Candidate:
Holds, or is eligible to obtain, a current Wisconsin Teaching License in Elementary Education Passionate and engaging educator Demonstrates ability to build positive, nurturing relationships with all learners by setting learning expectations at students' readiness levels. Ability to maintain a positive and safe learning environment. Collaborative and exceptional solutions-oriented mindsets. Ability to be flexible and adaptable, especially during times of change. Demonstrates good communication skills, including ability to guide and supervise groups of students, maintain confidentiality, and work with students in a positive and motivational manner. Demonstrates proficient office skills with computers and software. Able to interact with others effectively, follow directions and initiate activities independently. Enjoy working with students and other staff members. Demonstrates and supports a culture of diversity, equity and inclusion. Successful experience teaching CKLA Amplify and The Math Learning Center's Bridges is preferred. Bilingual (Spanish) skills and abilities are a plus.
