Part-Time / Adjunct (Online / Hybrid options available) Position Summary Horizon University invites applications for an Adjunct Faculty position to teach graduate-level courses in the MBA in Engineering Management program. We are seeking an industry-experienced educator and scholar to deliver rigorous, practical instruction bridging technical engineering concepts with strategic business leadership. The ideal candidate will combine advanced academic credentials with significant professional leadership experience in engineering, technology management, or technical operations. Key Responsibilities Deliver graduate-level courses within the MBA in Engineering Management curriculum (e.g., Engineering Project Management, Systems Engineering & Operations, Technology Commercialization, Quality Management, and Strategic Tech Leadership ). Facilitate engaging discussions, evaluate student assignments, and provide timely, constructive feedback. Integrate current industry trends, case studies, and practical applications into course materials. Maintain regular office hours to mentor and support graduate students from diverse professional and technical backgrounds. Ensure alignment with institutional learning outcomes and accreditation quality standards.

Qualifications Required:

Doctorate in any field Master's degree in Engineering Management, Systems Engineering, Industrial Engineering, MBA with a technical concentration, or a closely related field from an accredited institution or at least 18 graduate units in any related field. Minimum of 3-5 years of professional leadership experience in engineering, manufacturing, technical program management, or technology strategy. Demonstrated commitment to excellence in graduate teaching, student engagement, and professional ethics.

Preferred:

Prior experience teaching at the collegiate/graduate level (online or in-person). Professional certifications such as PMP (Project Management Professional), Six Sigma Black Belt, or PE (Professional Engineer). Familiarity with modern learning management systems (LMS).
