Applications in Engineering is offered in the fall term, focusing on introducing students to the engineering process, teamwork, and ethics through an interesting topic or area of practice. Introduction to Computing in Engineering, offered in the spring term, is a first programming course offered in either Matlab, Python or Mathematica that focuses on computing fundamentals in the context of engineering applications. The course includes topics that explore the implications of computing and engineering design choices.
