Well, look no more.... this is the JOB for you! Are you a Certified English Teacher/Substitute Teacher with a strong background in English/ELA looking for a part time teaching opportunity? Do you want to help students to be successful? Looking to get back into the classroom without being in a big school? Apply here! The English Teacher will plan and provide appropriate learning experiences for students in an alternate educational setting. The certified teacher in this position is responsible for helping to create a learning environment that provides specialized instruction for a small group of students who may need: 1:1 and/or small group instruction, lessons & activities for a variety of learning styles, and someone who is patient and flexible. Class size is no more than 12 students per class which is ideal for wanting to teach!

Hours:

M-F, 8:00-2:30, 1/2 lunch Hourly rates from $42-$44 depending on experience

Job Type:

Part time/temporary Responsibilities include: Help to develop lesson plans, assignments and activities that reflect individual needs, goals, and objectives. Establish and follow routine and schedule to provide maximum learning time. Establish and maintain an environment conducive to learning. Utilize appropriate curricula, materials, and behavioral techniques. Complete all required paperwork in a professional and timely manner. Always supervise students in the classroom.

Requirements include:
