Hofstra College of Liberal Arts and Sciences-Natural Science Description Hofstra's Department of Geology, Environment, and Sustainability is seeking a candidate with experience in the field of Sustainability to teach an undergraduate course focused on exploring the relationships between humans, animals, and the environment, while highlighting the integral role animals play for a sustainable world. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Design and teach an introductory level undergraduate course focused on exploring the relationships between humans, animals, and the environment, while highlighting the integral role animals play for a sustainable world. Qualifications PhD degree in some aspect of Sustainability is required. Experience teaching at the undergraduate university level. Preferred Quals Summary Experience teaching about human / animal interactions, particularly in reference to the humane treatment of animals preferred.
