The hourly rate for this position is $24-$26/hour.
Job Summary:
The Division of Medical and Behavioral Health is committed to providing academic leadership across its programs, ensuring the delivery of high-quality education in healthcare and public safety. This education equips students to meet the needs of diverse populations in a dynamic and ever-changing environment, across all campuses and teaching sites. The Human Anatomy Learning Center (HALC) plays a key role in advancing this mission by offering a state-of-the-art training environment for students across all academic divisions at Pueblo Community College.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Essential Functions
    Cadaver Preparation and Study Support:
    • Facilitate and supervise active learning activities within the Human Anatomy Learning Center (HALC), ensuring they are executed efficiently and on schedule, while utilizing QR codes for activity evaluations.
    • Collaborate with faculty to design and prepare lab activities and associated materials, fostering a cohesive learning experience.
    • Prepare materials for lab activities in partnership with the coordinator, faculty, and student workers, including setting up, labeling, and breaking down anatomical models used in activities.
    • Provide instruction using the Anatomy in Clay Learning System to enhance student understanding and engagement.
    • Assist in the design and development of activities, quizzes, and practical exams that integrate HALC resources into the curriculum, as requested by faculty.
    Anatomage Table Instruction and Support:
    • Lab Safety, Security, and Supply Management Additional Functions
    • Works independently with little supervision or as part of a team.
    • Communicates effectively with students, colleagues, and others.
    • Interacts professionally and respectfully with students, colleagues, and others.
    • Assesses individual and department work processes and recommends improvements.
    • Complies with State Fiscal Rules, State Board policies, System and College protocols, and departmental procedures.
    • Obtains and maintains proficiency with required systems and equipment.
    • Maintains confidentiality of student and employee information as required.
    • Completes all required compliance training within the established timeline.
    • Serves on committees and other groups as assigned.
    Competencies/KSAs:
    • Able to lift 15 pounds.
    • Able to read and communicate in English.
    • Mobility around campus.
    Minimum Qualifications:
    Education Successful completion of college anatomy course Experience Previous teaching experience preferred Schedule Available for day, evening, and occasional weekend courses/activities as scheduled
    Selection Process:
    Review of applications begins immediately and closes at 5pm (Mountain) on December 31, 2026. PERA retirees are not eligible to fill this position except on an interim basis and only in accordance with PERA work provisions.
