Some of the tasks include:
Run reports & queries, analyze/summarize data
Prepare miscellaneous reconciliations
Prepare Federal payment justifications and journal entries
Prepare/review deposits
File/purge records based on retention regulations
Enter vouchers in the accounting information system
Process daily WIOA local area payments Minimum Qualifications
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Be 18 years of age or older
Be actively enrolled in a New York State college, university, or graduate program, or be a resident of New York State, attending a college, university or graduate program outside of New York State
Have completed a minimum of one (1) year as a student at a degree-granting two or four-year college or university (completion of one year's worth of academic credits over a longer period may qualify part-time students for participation in the program), or be a currently enrolled graduate student or accepted in a graduate degree program
Have a minimum grade point average (GPA) of 2.
0, or the letter grade equivalent Preferred Skill sets:
Accounting background and working to complete or have completed 24 credit hours.
Strong Excel skills
Strong computer skills
Ability to understand policies and procedures
