The Enrollment Director is responsible for leading and executing student recruitment, admissions, and enrollment strategies to achieve institutional growth goals. This role oversees the full enrollment lifecycle from initial inquiry through matriculation while ensuring a high-quality, student-centered experience.
Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:
(Additional duties may be assigned) Develop and implement comprehensive enrollment strategies to meet or exceed student intake targets Analyze enrollment trends, market conditions, and competitor activity to adjust recruitment tactics Manage and track the admissions funnel, ensuring timely follow-up and conversion of leads into enrolled students Collaborate with leadership to align enrollment goals with institutional and revenue objectives Oversee the full admissions process, including inquiry management, application review, acceptance, and enrollment Ensure accurate and timely communication with prospective students regarding programs, requirements, finances, and next steps Maintain and optimize CRM systems to manage applicant data, communications, and reporting Monitor application pipelines and proactively address bottlenecks in the enrollment process Supervise, train, and coach admissions representatives Set performance goals, monitor productivity, and drive accountability for enrollment targets Foster a high-performance, customer-focused culture within the admissions team Partner with marketing to develop lead generation campaigns (digital, community outreach, partnerships) Represent the school at recruitment events, career fairs, and community engagements Build and maintain relationships with feeder schools, employers, and community organizations Ensure a responsive, supportive, and student-focused admissions experience Counsel prospective students and families on program options, career pathways, and financial considerations Address escalated inquiries or concerns and ensure timely resolution Ensure enrollment processes comply with institutional policies and applicable state/federal regulations Track and report key performance indicators (KPIs) such as lead conversion rates, enrollment yield, and retention trends Prepare regular reports for leadership and recommend process improvements based on data Participate in Ad Hoc teams such as the alumni association, event planning etc.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
The Enrollment Director is the direct supervisor of all enrollment staff. Essential supervisory responsibilities include but are not limited to: Measurements of Success Enrollment start numbers vs. target Lead-to-enrollment conversion rate Inquiry response time and follow-up effectiveness Student retention (early-term persistence) Keep the enrollment team engaged and positive with little turnover.
Education and Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Education, Marketing, or a related field 3-5+ years of experience in admissions, enrollment management, or sales (preferably in higher education or career training) Demonstrated success meeting or exceeding enrollment or sales targets
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Strong leadership and team management skills Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation abilities Data-driven mindset with experience using CRM systems and reporting tools High level of organization and attention to detail Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, goal-oriented, revenue-driven environment

The ability to sit and/or stand for long periods of time. The ability to lift 20 lbs.
Work Environment:
Full-time, in person or hybrid position with occasional evening or weekend hours for events Events may be held outdoors with a potential for varied weather conditions Fast-paced, performance-driven environment with defined enrollment targets

Pay:
$30.00 - $50.00 per hour Expected hours: No less than 40.0 per week
