Meadowbrook Manor of La Grange is expanding our Marketing Department and is seeking a dynamic, results-driven Admissions Director to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced admissions or marketing professional with a background in Skilled Nursing or Long-Term Care who is passionate about building relationships, providing exceptional customer service, and helping families through the admissions process. The Admissions Director plays a key role in driving occupancy by cultivating referral relationships, managing admissions from inquiry through admission, and ensuring a positive experience for residents and their families. Position Responsibilities Manage all aspects of the pre-admission and admission process. Coordinate admissions by gathering resident information to ensure appropriate placement. Conduct facility tours for prospective residents and families. Build and maintain strong relationships with hospitals, physicians, case managers, and other referral sources. Develop new community partnerships to support census growth. Respond promptly to all referrals and admission inquiries. Maintain a thorough understanding of Medicare, Medicaid, managed care, and private insurance. Guide residents and families through the admissions process, including financial and required admission documentation. Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure smooth resident transitions. Develop and implement marketing initiatives to meet and exceed census goals. Maintain accurate admission records while ensuring confidentiality of resident information. Represent the facility professionally within the community. Qualifications Previous experience as an Admissions Director, Admissions Coordinator, or Marketing professional in a Skilled Nursing or Long-Term Care setting preferred. Strong knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, managed care, and private insurance. Demonstrated success building and maintaining referral relationships. Excellent customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills. Strong organizational, time management, and problem-solving abilities. Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and electronic medical record systems. Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times.
