Job Description

Overview:
The Fundraising Coordinator will have a multi-faceted role here at Temple Academy. The person will primarily focus on organizing and overseeing events that focus on raising funds for the school's annual budget. Additionally, the job requires the person to work closely with the community to coordinate major events, support volunteer opportunities, and help increase awareness of Temple Academy throughout the region. The position plays a vital role in helping Temple Academy grow by increasing financial support, strengthening community relationships, enhancing school visibility, and creating a culture of engagement among families, alumni, churches, and supporters.
Requirements:
The position requires the person to be a practicing Christian who is active in his/her faith. The person must, without reservation, be in agreement with Temple Academy's Statement of Faith, philosophy, objectives, and policies. The person must be energetic and mission-driven. Experience working with fundraising, community involvement, event planning (preferred) High School Graduate required. Post secondary training (preferred)
Key Responsibilities:
Fundraising & Development Develop and implement annual fundraising strategies to meet school goals. Coordinate fundraising campaigns, annual giving, sponsorships, and donor cultivation. Identify and pursue new fundraising opportunities, grants, and partnerships. Build and maintain relationships with donors, alumni, businesses, churches, and community leaders. Track fundraising progress and provide regular reports to the Head of School and School Board. Event Planning & Coordination Plan and oversee school fundraising events, banquets, auctions, golf tournaments, and community gatherings. Coordinate volunteers and committees for special events. Ensure events are well organized, well advertised, successful, and aligned with school goals. Volunteer Leadership Serve as liaison to the Parent Teacher group and Athletic Boosters. Recruit, organize, and support volunteers across school programs and events. Develop systems to engage parents, alumni, and community supporters. Strategic Growth Increase visibility and awareness of Temple Academy throughout the Central Maine area. Build relationships with local businesses, churches, and civic organizations. Promote school achievements, events, and enrollment opportunities. Collaborate on marketing, advertising, social media, and public relations efforts.
Qualifications:
Strong communication and relationship skills. Excellent organizational and project management abilities. Ability to recruit, motivate, and lead volunteers. Passion for Christian education and the mission of Temple Academy. Self-starter with creativity, enthusiasm, and a positive attitude. Loves connecting with people Excited about growing Temple Academy and committed to our mission. Strong leadership and teamwork skills.

$30,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
