Theology Department Student Worker

Job Description

Hours:
Approximately 2-3 hours per week, with flexibility based on departmental needs.
Responsibilities:
Assist the Department of Theology with administrative, communication, and promotional projects. Communicate with current students and alumni about department events, opportunities, and initiatives. Help maintain alumni records and support alumni engagement efforts. Assist with planning and promoting department events and social activities. Create and update content for social media, newsletters, bulletin boards, and other department communications. Conduct research and gather information on theology programs at other institutions. Perform general office duties, including copying, organizing materials, and other administrative tasks as assigned.
Required Skills:
Strong written and verbal communication skills. Organized with excellent attention to detail. Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks. Creativity and willingness to assist with marketing and communications. Professional and courteous when interacting with students, faculty, and alumni.
Qualifications:
Comfortable using Microsoft Office applications. Experience with social media, graphic design, or newsletters is preferred but not required. Interest in theology, ministry, or higher education is helpful but not required.
Type of Work:
Administrative support. Alumni and student communications. Event planning and promotion. Social media and newsletter development. Bulletin board and department display updates. Research and data collection. Other tasks as assigned.
