Mississippi Christian University invites applicants for the position of Provost and Executive Vice President. On June 1, 2026, theinstitution's name was changed from Mississippi College to Mississippi Christian University, while also retaining the shortened "MC." The Provost and Executive Vice President works closely with thePresident and the President's Council consisting of deans, vice presidents and other key administrators. The University's chief academicexecutive brings vision, energy, and commitment to the advancement of programs at undergraduate and graduate levels and works closely withAcademic Deans over all six schools. The current Organizational Chart notesthe direct reports, although the exact structure may vary based on the skill set of the incoming Provost and Executive Vice President.
