Maryville Integrated Care has a staff of dedicated professionals who devote themselves each day to helping people suffering from an addictive disease reclaim their lives. Our staff provides comprehensive high quality substance abuse and co-occurring treatment and recovery services to individuals and families affected by the disease of addiction. Our staff is committed to providing Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Motivational Interviewing (MI) to implement behavioral interventions, social skill interventions, and support for patients to gain the necessary adaptive skills to be successful in recovery. Basic Functions This individual's main function is to assist in implementing Maryville's Alumni Services program. This includes interacting with alumni, clients, staff, and community partners. It requires outreach, assisting alumni with various needs, data entry, event coordination, and activity planning as well as enrollment and marketing duties. Essential Functions Enroll clients into Alumni Services program. Enter alumni information into database. Plan, coordinate, and execute a series of alumni engagement events comprised of recreational, educational, and community service activities. Gather information and resources for alumni and provide support. Develop content for Alumni Services social media pages and event flyers. Collect alumni testimonials (verbal, written, video) for marketing purposes. Present information on Alumni Services at client groups and staff meetings. Perform related duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Knowledge of the basic principles, philosophies, practices, and procedures involved in substance use treatment preferred.
Excellent organization, written and oral communication skills.
Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with alumni, clients, other members of staff, outside agencies, institutions, and the general public.
Must possess excellent time management skills to plan, prioritize, and coordinate multiple projects.
Data entry experience required.
Must be able to maintain the strictest confidentiality and obey HIPAA laws.
Must possess compassion, patience, and the desire to help others.
Minimum Requirement Education/Licensure:
Associate's Degree preferred, High School Diploma or GED required.
Experience:
Coordination and organization experience required in the area of events, projects, or office management. Must have your CPRS certification.
Driving:
Valid driver's license and car insurance is required. An MVR check will be completed.
Sobriety:
If recovering, must have at least two (2) years of continuous sobriety and maintain sobriety throughout employment. Competencies Required General Competencies 1. Quality 2. Productivity 3. Pay:
$20.51 per hour Expected hours: 37.5 per week
