Job Description

Pittsburgh Institute of Aeronautics (PIA) is seeking a dynamic and experienced Campus Director to provide leadership, oversight, and strategic direction for our Youngstown, Ohio campus. The Campus Director is responsible for the overall leadership and administration of the campus, with primary responsibility for supporting student success, leading and developing the campus team, and maintaining a positive, effective educational environment. Responsibilities include student engagement and retention; employee leadership, engagement, and retention; oversight of campus operations and facilities; compliance with state, federal, accreditation, and institutional requirements; community and employer partnerships; and responsible management of campus resources, procurement, revenue, and budget. Responsibilities :
Oversee daily campus operations and supervise campus faculty and staff. Support student retention, advising, academic hearings, graduations, orientations, and open houses. Ensure compliance with ACCSC, DOE, FAA, and applicable regulations. Manage budgets, equipment purchases, payroll approvals, and faculty scheduling. Serve as onsite Title IX Coordinator and support accommodations processes. Foster partnerships with industry and community organizations. Promote educational effectiveness and continuous improvement.
Qualifications:
The following requirements list the minimum education/training/experience required to qualify for this job. An equivalent combination of education and/or experience may be accepted. A bachelor's degree or higher in the field of Education, Management/Administration, Aviation, or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience 5 years of supervisory experience, with preference for leadership experience in an educational setting Demonstrated experience in leadership, communication (written and verbal), and organizational ability Knowledge of educational regulations, accreditation, and compliance requirements preferred. Experience in higher education, technical training, or career school environment preferred. Budget management experience Highly Proficient in computer file management, database, and email systems Experience with CNS or other CRM software preferred Aviation industry knowledge and experience preferred Familiarization with relevant educational and technical governing agencies and their applicable regulations.
