Full Time Position Summary:
The Secondary Math & Social Studies Teacher delivers well-rounded instruction spanning both quantitative and humanities-based disciplines. This role bridges analytical logic in mathematics with critical thinking, research, and civic literacy in history and social sciences.
Qualifications:
Candidates must hold a valid Michigan Secondary Teaching Certificate (Grades 6-12 or 7-12) with an endorsement in Mathematics (EX). Preferred secondary endorsement in Social Studies (RX / CQ) or History (CC / RC). Additional preferred endorsements in core subject areas are welcome. Must demonstrate a positive attitude, strong classroom management, and the ability to build positive relationships with staff, parents, and students. Must satisfactorily pass all required pre-employment screenings, including: Criminal Background Check Unprofessional Conduct Background Check (PA 189)
