This role applies professional library practices, researches and shares information, supports technology and library programs and helps develop services. policies, and procedures that meet the needs of its customers and the K12 population it primarily serves. The position also offers opportunities to contribute to professional initiatives, emerging information technologies and statewide library services for the blind and visually impaired. This position will be required to work with (and on a routine basis) the Division for the Visually Impaird's prison braille program, Men With a Message, stationed at the James T. JOB REQUIREMENTS

for Senior Librarian Applicants must have education, training and/or experience demonstrating competence in each of the following areas: Possession of a Bachelors degree or higher in Library and Information Science, English, Education, Computer Science or related field. Six months experience in organizing and coordinating library services and programs. Six months experience in assisting users in navigating information sources and providing reference or information desk services.
