Staff Description of Key Responsibility:

+ Provide reference service at the Information Desk + Maintain building security, including responsibility for opening and/or closing the building, when required + Oversee student assistants during evening and weekend hours + Handle requests directed to library staff member on duty + Complete projects assigned by Outreach and Engagement Librarian + Perform other related duties as appropriately assigned

Education/Training:

Bachelor's degree, and must have completed at least 18 graduate credit hours in Library Science from an American Library Association accredited institution.

Experience:

Reference service experience or training is required. Experience and background in an integrated online environment required. Experience and background in electronic information resources is required.

Position Summary:
