Job Description

The Work-Study for the Gus Nichols Library will focus on assisting in the routine operations and support tasks of the library staff. Student workers in this position will greet all guests and serve in a front-facing customer service capacity as well as support the overall organization and structure of the Gus Nichols Library . This role requires the student to have a basic understanding and application of standard administrative duties and effective communication skills in assisting patrons at the circulation desk.
Responsibilities:
Assist all patrons at the circulation desk Demonstrate use of technology and digital services to library users Work with staff to process books, restock supplies, and shelf books Maintain office supplies, coordinate equipment requests, and ensure administrative office operates effectively Retrieve and return items from the the off-site storage Assist with shifting and moving any of the library's collections Process library donations through data entry and the manual moving of donations
Qualifications:
