Job Description

Library Assistant, Freetown Public Libraries (Freetown)

Under the Library Director's direction, the Library Assistant supports a broad range of library services and customer service functions. The Library Assistant supports the day-to-day operations of the Freetown Public Libraries, helping ensure library services are delivered efficiently, effectively, and in a welcoming manner to all patrons. The hours for this position will be Tuesday 4-7 pm, Thursday 4-7 pm, and Saturday 9 am-1 pm.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or equivalent required; computer experience and library experience preferred; duties may require lifting up to 40 lbs. and standing, sitting, bending, or squatting for an extended period of time. Full/Part Time
