Qualifications Bachelor's degree preferred. Prior experience working with teenagers, customer service, libraries, or educational settings preferred. Proficiency with Google Workspace, Apple and PC platforms, and common web-based applications. Physical Requirements Ability to frequently bend, reach, stretch, and lift library materials weighing up to 20-30 pounds. Ability to move throughout the library during the course of an evening shift. Ability to work at a computer for extended periods while assisting students and managing library resources. What You'll Do Reporting to the Director of Library & Digital Learning, the Evening Library Assistant helps oversee the library during evening study hall while supporting students, faculty, and the daily operation of the space.

You will:

Supervise students during evening study hall while maintaining a quiet, respectful, and productive learning environment. Help cultivate a welcoming, supportive, and inclusive atmosphere for students, faculty, and staff. Assist students and faculty with locating, accessing, and using library collections and digital learning resources. Staff the circulation desk and respond to general library questions. Shelve, organize, and maintain books, periodicals, technology, and other library materials. Help ensure the library remains clean, organized, and inviting throughout the evening. Support the daily operation of the library and perform other duties as assigned.
