Job Description

Library Assistant (Part Time), Upton Town Library (Upton)
The Town of Upton seeks to fill the part-time Library Assistant position. Reporting to the Library Director at the new state-of-the-art Upton Community Center, you will be responsible for assisting patrons with library transactions, responding to patron requests, and preparing library materials.
Available schedule: weekday evenings, Tues, Weds, Thurs 2:30pm - 8pm, and rotating Saturdays 9am-4pm.
Qualifications
Requires a High School Diploma or GED and one year of related experience in customer service or retail, or an equivalent combination of education and experience preferred; Library system computer applications; excellent oral and written communication skills; physical ability to occasionally lift and move boxes weighing up to 30 pounds.
