Job Description

The Fiske Public Library in the Town of Wrentham is seeking qualified applicants for the part-time position of Library Aide-Circulation. This position is customer service focused, providing library services, information and materials for patrons. Reporting to the Circulation Supervisor, the Library Aide assists with a variety of circulation functions. Duties include but are not limited to : Checking library materials in and out; registering new patrons; and responding to inquiries. Responsible for providing information on library services via telephone, in person and online to patrons. Position requires organizing, sorting and shelving of library materials and other library-related duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Experience :

Strong customer service and organizational skills. High School diploma or equivalent is required; municipal library experience desirable; or any equivalent combination of education and experience. Highly proficient computer skills required. Ability to successfully pass Town of Wrentham background check and pre-employment physical.

Pay:

$16.50 - $17.00 per hour
