Job Description

Library Aide - Circulation, Fiske Public Library (Wrentham) The Fiske Public Library in the Town of Wrentham is seeking qualified applicants for the part-time position of Library Aide-Circulation. This position is customer service focused, providing library services, information and materials for patrons. Reporting to the Circulation Supervisor, the Library Aide assists with a variety of circulation functions. Duties include but are not limited to: Checking library materials in and out; registering new patrons; and responding to inquiries. Responsible for providing information on library services via telephone, in person and online to patrons. Position requires organizing, sorting and shelving of library materials and other library-related duties as assigned
Schedule:
To be determined as to the needs of the Library. Evening hours and some Saturdays will be required.
Salary:
Part-time with a maximum of 14 hours per week non-benefit, non-union position. Hourly rate $16.50 to $17.00 (DOQ).
