Dayton Metro Library - 4.2 Dayton, OH Job Details From $12.50 an hour 1 day ago Qualifications Customer communication Library collection arrangement Shelving (library and archives technical processing) Time & attendance systems Full Job Description Job Qualifications Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to communicate effectively when dealing with staff and patrons. Ability to apply active listening skills. Less than high school education or up to one-month related experience or training or equivalent combination of education and experience. Ability to quickly and accurately put items in numerical and alphabetical order. Ability to push/pull carts full of materials. Ability to kneel, bend, and stoop in order to return items to shelves. Ability to use email and online timekeeping system
Work Schedule:
The new hire will work every Friday and Saturday from 11:00-5:00 and other hours as needed.
Compensation and Benefits :
Starting hourly rate for this position is $12.50. This position is not eligible for insurance or paid time off, and it is open until filled. Work Schedule:
Monday, Wednesday and Thursday:
Will be scheduled as needed on these days;
Friday:
12:00-4:00 or 2:00-6:00
