Job Description Student Library Assistant - Amarillo Amarillo 46339BR Position Description A student enrolled in an institution of higher education other than Texas Tech University or Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center employed to perform work as assigned by the supervisor. Major/Essential Functions Student assistants are responsible for: circulating library materials using the computer system assisting students, faculty, and staff on the telephone and in-person answering incoming telephone calls and providing information on library services redirecting telephone calls with reference questions to librarians staffing the Circulation and Reference desks assisting patrons with printers and computers Required Qualifications A student enrolled in at least six hours.
