Job Description Mathnasium is a math-only learning center that offers both math help and enrichment to students in grades K-12. Each student in our program receives a customized learning plan based on our proprietary teaching material. Unlike other learning centers and tutoring services, our entire teaching philosophy revolves around teaching math in a way that makes sense to students. We offer part-time jobs in the Tracy area with flexible scheduling and ongoing training opportunities. We serve our students year-round (including summer), both online and in-person, so this is an opportunity for regular but flexible work. Required Qualifications:

Exceptional math skills through Algebra Ability to work with elementary and middle school math courses. Open minded to new teaching methods. Ability to make Math fun for children while getting work done. Excellent communication and multi-tasking skills Ability to professionally interact with students and parents Energetic and confident personality Applicants should love teaching and be able to motivate students to success.

Preferred Qualifications :

Exceptional math skills through Algebra 2 and Geometry Ability to teach students in upper level high school math courses (Experience with trigonometry and calculus will be a plus) Previous teaching experience or other experience working with students Organizational skills to tract student progress Ability to learn our software for running the business Sales and customer service experience Leadership and management skills Our Schedule Mon -

Thurs:

3:30pm to 7:30pm

Sun:

2pm - 4 pm High school juniors and seniors, college students, recent graduates, teachers, and everyone else all who meet the criteria are encouraged to apply. Approximately 6-20 hours/ week (flexible).

Compensation :
