Eastern Greene Elementary School is seeking a passionate and dedicated 1st Grade teacher to join our team.

Qualifications:

Valid Indiana teaching licensure preferred. Interest in sponsoring/coaching extra-curricular activities preferred. Strong classroom management and instructional skills. Ability to build positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues. Enthusiasm for creating an engaging and supportive learning environment.

Job Goal:

To provide high-quality instruction aligned to Indiana Academic Standards in a nurturing and engaging classroom environment. To support the academic, social, and emotional development of all students through differentiated instruction and meaningful relationships. To contribute to the continued excellence and growth of Eastern Greene Elementary's educational programming.

Maintain high standards as a role model, both in and out of the classroom, while advocating the skills, mission, and objectives of the school and district Deliver effective, standards-based instruction in person Integrate technology into daily instruction and support digital learning as needed Foster good citizenship, fairness, and integrity in the classroom community Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues Collaborate across grade levels and content areas to enrich student learning Demonstrate strong organizational and leadership skills Perform other duties as assigned by the principal
