Posting Information Posting Information Position Title Adjunct Mathematics Instructor Job Duties Butler Community College is seeking an Adjunct Mathematics Instructor to teach College Algebra courses. This opportunity may include instruction at multiple campus locations, evening classes, and concurrent enrollment courses in local high schools. Courses may be delivered in face-to-face, online, or hybrid formats, depending on departmental needs. Campus Locations Multiple Sites Nature of Position Adjunct Instructor If Part Time, list Working Hours Salary (Commensurate with education and experience) $850 per credit hour taught Open Date 09/21/2026 Close Date Open Until Filled Yes Special Instructions Summary This position is for an adjunct math instructor, must be able to teach all levels of math, including through Differential Equations and Statistics. It could require teaching on multiple campuses, including McConnell, and between 8 am - 10 pm. You must be available to teach on campus and in person. Qualifications The applicant may be requested to authorize the College to procure a consumer report(s) for employment purposes. Qualifications Required knowledge and skills Ability to teach college algebra concepts. Required experience Previous teaching experience required. College level teaching experience helpful, but not required. Required educational background Master's degree required. 18 graduate level credit hours in math-related subjects.
