November 1 - December 23, 2026 (approximate dates) The Wachusett Regional School District (WRSD) is seeking a Multi-Tiered System of Supports Interventionist Long Term Substitute to join school leadership teams and support successful implementation of the curriculum. These interventionists will play a key role in promoting student success through inclusive, data-driven, and targeted instructional practices. These interventionists report to the

Interventionist Specialist and principals.

Key Responsibilities:

Student Support and Instruction Model effective instructional strategies and lessons in the classroom setting. Deliver inclusive individual and small group instruction in reading and math. Implement evidence-based interventions tailored to meet students' specific learning needs. Collaborate with classroom teachers to ensure interventions align with and support core curriculum. Comfortable with developing and providing collaborative Professional Learning experience (stipend available for additional hours) Serve as a liaison between administrators, teachers, counselors, and other stakeholders to design and implement supports. Lead grade level PLCs to improve instructional strategies/targeted support. Lead regular collaboration meetings with educators to share data, refine practices, and ensure consistency across grade-levels. Familiarity with MTSS frameworks and data-driven instructional planning. Strong collaboration and communication skills. Willingness to engage in continuous professional learning to enhance instructional practices and student outcomes integrating research-based practices. Assist in interpreting screening, diagnostic, and progress monitoring data to identify students in need of support. Monitor student progress and maintain detailed data to evaluate the effectiveness of interventions through the use of Panorama Student Success. Adjust intervention plans based on ongoing analysis of student performance data. All duties as specified by the building principal.
