To Be Determined Job Description Salisbury Elementary School seeks an experienced, organized, and passionate Part-Time Academic Interventionist. The Academic Interventionist will work on our Title I team to support elementary students in grades K-6 in acquiring fundamental Math and ELA skills to bridge learning gaps and accelerate achievement. The interventionist will collaborate with classroom teachers to deliver targeted, evidence-based instructional support and small group interventions within the general education classroom environment. Part-time schedule will ideally include 2-3 hours/day, Monday through Friday.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct targeted, small group Reading & Math interventions.
• Partner with classroom teachers to scaffold core instruction and co-teach where appropriate.
• Implement systematic, data-informed interventions targeted to specific student skill deficits.
• Administer screening tools, diagnostic assessments, and ongoing progress monitoring to track student growth.
• Analyze student data collaboratively with classroom teachers and Title I staff to adjust instruction and determine intervention fluidity.
• Maintain active, open communication with grade-level teams and specialized staff.
• Participate in MTSS team meetings and data-planning sessions.
• Build and maintain positive relationships with colleagues in order to support teaching and learning.
• Build and maintain positive, helping relationships with all students to support academic and social-emotional growth.
