Schedule:
5.75 hours; 8:35am-2:50pm Deadline to apply: August 21, 2026 or until filled
Position Available:
2026/2027 School Year only Instructional Technicians- AVMR (Math Specialist) Support elementary students in math development. These individuals work with multiple staff & students. These individuals research, organize, create and implement material for supplemental math growth while adhering to the State Standards of Mathematics through the use of miscellaneous programs, assessments, groups, books, games, hands-on building activities and/or innovative ideas where growth can be measured.
Qualifications:
Instructional Techs must meet one of the following requirements: Complete at least two years of study at an institution of higher education (equal to 60 semester hours); or Obtain an associate's degree (or higher); or Meet a rigorous standard of quality and demonstrate, through a formal state or local academic assessment. The Michigan State Board of Education has approved the following formal assessments by which a teacher assistant can demonstrate knowledge:
