Overview We are seeking a dynamic and passionate Math Teacher to inspire and educate students across various grade levels. Health Leadership High School teaches through project based learning interdisciplinary projects. Duties Design and deliver comprehensive math lessons aligned with New Mexico State standards, including topics such as algebra, geometry, trigonometry, calculus, and discrete math Develop innovative instructional materials utilizing educational technology and IT-integrated lessons to enhance student engagement Assess student progress through standardized testing, quizzes, projects, and formative assessments; provide constructive feedback to support learning Manage classroom environments effectively by implementing behavior management strategies and adapting teaching approaches to diverse learning styles Collaborate with colleagues on curriculum development, lesson planning, and instructional strategies to ensure consistency and high-quality education Support students from diverse cultural backgrounds by employing inclusive teaching practices and differentiating instruction accordingly Mentor students academically and personally, providing guidance on higher education pathways and career opportunities in STEM fields Requirements Proven experience teaching math at the middle school or high school level, including classroom management and lesson planning skills Strong knowledge of mathematical concepts such as algebra, geometry, trigonometry, calculus, differential equations, discrete math, and molecular biology applications in science education Familiarity with educational technology tools for lesson implementation and student assessment Ability to adapt teaching methods to accommodate various learning styles and special education needs Experience working with students from diverse cultural backgrounds and fostering an inclusive classroom environment Excellent communication skills for engaging students, collaborating with colleagues, and communicating with parents or guardians Demonstrated understanding of educational compliance regulations and standardized testing procedures Commitment to ongoing professional development through research, mentoring, instructional design, and collaboration with fellow educatorsJoin us in shaping the future of young minds by delivering inspiring math education that combines rigorous content with innovative teaching techniques.
