Brief Description of Duties:
SUNY Morrisville seeks adjunct instructor(s) to teach Mathematics courses in Elementary Algebra. Courses will be taught in the face-to-face format at the Morrisville Campus. MAGN 101,
Elementary Algebra:
Apply foundational arithmetic skills and use key properties, terminology, and vocabulary of the real number system to solve mathematical problems. Solve linear equations and inequalities in one variable and manipulate literal equations in applied contexts. Use integer exponents; perform operations on polynomials; and factor expressions. Interpret and graph linear equations using appropriate mathematical tools.
Requirements:
Minimum Qualifications:
Master's in Mathematics, Mathematics Education or a related field.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience teaching developmental and college level mathematics Ability to communicate effectively with a diverse array of students.
