The ideal candidate will help students strengthen their mathematical skills, build confidence, and develop strong problem-solving abilities in a positive learning environment.
Responsibilities-Plan and deliver engaging math lessons aligned with middle school curriculum standards
Assess student understanding through assignments, quizzes, and classroom activities
Provide constructive feedback and additional support when needed
Maintain a positive, respectful, and inclusive classroom environment
Communicate appropriately with parents/guardians and school staff regarding student progress
Encourage students to develop confidence, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Education, or a related field preferred. Experience teaching or tutoring middle school mathematics preferred. Strong understanding of middle school math concepts and curriculum. Excellent communication and classroom-management skills. Ability to make mathematics engaging and accessible to students with different learning styles. Commitment to student success and a growth mindset.
