Full Job Description Description:
The K-2 Teacher position is responsible for providing engaging, live virtual instruction to students in Kindergarten through Second Grade while helping build the instructional systems, culture, and traditions of a growing program. As a founding teacher, this individual will have a unique opportunity to shape the future of Founders at Home alongside a collaborative leadership team. During the program's inaugural year, enrollment is expected to remain intentionally small, allowing teachers to build strong relationships with students and families while refining instructional practices and helping develop a scalable model for future growth.
Requirements:
Deliver high-quality, synchronous virtual instruction to K-2 students. Foster a classroom culture that reflects the principles of classical education. Differentiate instruction to meet the academic needs of individual learners. Maintain consistent communication with parents and guardians. Monitor student progress and provide timely feedback. Collaborate with program leadership to refine curriculum, instructional practices, and operational systems. Participate in faculty meetings, professional learning, and school events. Maintain accurate student records and comply with all state and program requirements.
