Role:

Are you an enthusiastic educator who loves hands-on learning, creativity, and outdoor exploration? We are looking for dynamic, engaging, and versatile instructors to lead two after-school enrichment programs for elementary students. In CineCraft , students explore storytelling, acting, filmmaking, scriptwriting, prop design, and camera work while creating their own short films. In Nature Navigators, students discover science and the natural world through hands-on activities, outdoor exploration, and environmental education. The ideal candidate is energetic, creative, adaptable, and passionate about inspiring young minds. We are looking for an adaptable individual who can foster a love for the environment—inspiring young scientists, thinkers, and eco-innovators—while providing a meaningful, fun, and safe after-school experience!

Qualifications and Skills The Personality:

A fun, high-energy, and engaging individual who can motivate and build trust with elementary-aged students after the school day ends.

The Background:

Experience in elementary education, environmental science, outdoor education, STEM, or life sciences and film-making.

The Mindset:

A passion for encouraging curiosity, scientific inquiry, and teamwork while maintaining a safe, structured, and inclusive classroom environment.

The Soft Skills:

Patience, empathy, adaptability, and top-notch communication skills with both kids and parents. Requirements Minimum 2 years of college education. At least 1 year of experience working with elementary-aged children. Ability to confidently manage a classroom of up to 20 students. Must be able to pass background checks and a TB test. Reliable transportation to commute to Pacifica, CA . Ability to lift and carry classroom/science supplies (approximately 20-50 lbs. occasionally).

Compensation & Schedule Rate:

$25.00 to $32.00 per hour
