Responsibilities:
Develop and implement lesson plans that fulfill the requirements of the curriculum, using biblical based principles
Teach students using a variety of engaging and interactive methods
Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes learning and growth
Assess and evaluate student progress, providing constructive feedback
Collaborate with other teachers and staff to create a cohesive educational experience
Utilize learning technology to enhance instruction and engage students
Provide guidance and support to students in their academic and personal development
Maintain accurate records of student attendance, grades, and performance
Responsible for all 6th-8th grade ELA, History, Science, and Bible lessons.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field preferred
Valid teaching certification or license preferred
Experience in education or teaching
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Proficient in learning technology tools and platforms
Knowledge of subject matter
Ability to effectively manage a classroom and maintain discipline
Experience working with diverse student populations
Previous tutoring or mentoring experience is a plus
Must be able to pass a background check.
