Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement lesson plans that fulfill the requirements of the curriculum, using biblical based principles
  • Teach students using a variety of engaging and interactive methods
  • Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes learning and growth
  • Assess and evaluate student progress, providing constructive feedback
  • Collaborate with other teachers and staff to create a cohesive educational experience
  • Utilize learning technology to enhance instruction and engage students
  • Provide guidance and support to students in their academic and personal development
  • Maintain accurate records of student attendance, grades, and performance
  • Responsible for all 6th-8th grade ELA, History, Science, and Bible lessons.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field preferred
  • Valid teaching certification or license preferred
  • Experience in education or teaching
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficient in learning technology tools and platforms
  • Knowledge of subject matter
  • Ability to effectively manage a classroom and maintain discipline
  • Experience working with diverse student populations
  • Previous tutoring or mentoring experience is a plus
  • Must be able to pass a background check.
