Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Classroom Supervisor/Teacher to join our team for the 2026-2027 school year. This is a non-traditional teaching role where educators guide students through self-paced, individualized curriculum programs such as Ignitia as well as provide limited group lessons and activities in a small-group classroom setting.
Key Responsibilities:
Demonstrate a positive, patient attitude in working with children
Provide academic support, clarification, and encouragement through one-on-one student assistance and group instruction
Plan and implement supplemental instruction, projects, and classroom activities to enrich the base curriculum
Deliver instructional programs to students who may have learning and physical disabilities and/or social behavior issues
Work to maintain a safe, effective, Christ-centered learning environment using appropriate classroom management strategies
Maintain student attendance and grades in school management system
Participate in in-service programs, required training and professional meetings as requested
Work collaboratively with Principal, Monitors, Parents, third-party providers and other staff
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree required from accredited institution
No teaching certification required - certification obtained through our accrediting body
Experience working with children or in an educational setting is a plus
Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with parents, students, therapists and administrators.
