Micro School Facilitator Lakeland - 3.8 Lakeland, FL Job Details Part-time $20 - $22 an hour 10 hours ago Qualifications Student-centered approaches (student motivation techniques) Full Job Description Job Overview K-5 Micro School Facilitator Part-Time | Monday-Friday | Christian Learning Environment We are looking for a caring, dependable, and energetic K-5 Micro School Facilitator to join our small Christian learning community. Our micro school provides a personalized, encouraging environment where children can grow academically, socially, and spiritually. With a class size of 10 students or fewer, our facilitator has the opportunity to know each child personally and help them thrive. About the Position Our school utilizes the Prenda curriculum, so the primary role of the facilitator is not to develop curriculum from scratch. Instead, you will guide students through their daily learning, provide support and encouragement, help maintain a productive classroom, and create an environment where students feel known, challenged, and cared for. Responsibilities Facilitate daily learning for students in grades K-5 Guide students through the provided Prenda curriculum Provide individual assistance and encouragement as needed Manage a small classroom of 10 students or fewer Help students stay focused, organized, and engaged Create a positive, structured, and welcoming classroom environment Encourage responsibility, kindness, respect, and good character Communicate effectively with parents and school leadership Support the Christian mission and values of the school Help students grow both academically and personally Qualifications We would love to hear from candidates with experience in one or more of the following areas: Homeschooling or homeschool co-ops Teaching or classroom instruction Paraprofessional or teacher-assistant experience Tutoring Children's ministry or other educational settings A teaching degree is not required. We are looking for someone who genuinely enjoys working with children, is patient and organized, and is comfortable helping students at different grade and ability levels. Schedule Part-Time Monday through Friday Specific daily hours and compensation will be discussed during the interview process. The Ideal Candidate The right person will be someone who loves children, values Christian education, takes initiative, communicates well, and enjoys the unique environment of a small classroom where meaningful relationships and individualized learning are possible.
