Jobs › East Longmeadow, MA › Driver/After School Staff Member Massachusetts Taekwondo Academy Driver/After School Staff Member East Longmeadow, MA Apply Driver/After School Staff Member After School Age Program runs Monday through Friday from 7:00am to 9:00am (Before School) and 2:00pm to 6:15pm (After School). We also operate full day programming during Springfield Public School breaks. We are seeking a passionate and dedicated School Teacher to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to fostering a positive learning environment and supporting the personal growth of students.
Responsibilities:
- Supervision of children in large group program.
- Transport children to and from program safely in 7D Pupil Vans, noting pick-up and drop off times.
- Manage classroom behavior through effective classroom management techniques.
- Foster a supportive and inclusive classroom environment.
- Maintain cleanliness and order of materials in classrooms and vans.
- Incorporate elements of childhood development into teaching practices to support emotional and social growth.
- Monday to Friday 2:00PM to 6:15PM
- No Weekends, No Major Holidays Requirements
- Valid Identification
- Must have a 7D license or meet the requirements to receive them. Company will cover all necessary exam fees after being hired.
- Must have EEC suitability or meet the requirements to receive it.
- Previous experience in Childcare preferred but not required.
Qualifications:
- High School Education Diploma / College Degree preferred.
- Knowledge of early childhood education principles.
- Experience in childcare group setting strongly recommended.
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with students, parents, and staff.
- Ability to demonstrate patience, empathy, and enthusiasm for teaching children.
- Clean Background (Candidates must be able to pass a background check).
- Driver\'s License (Valid for minimum of 3 years with no issues).
- Able to obtain a 7D certificate within 1 month of hiring.
