Job Description

An upper elementary classroom teacher educates students, focusing on advanced foundational skills, independent learning, executive functioning, digital literacy, and preparation for middle school.

Create and execute daily lesson plans for core subjects like math, reading, science, and social studies
Grade assignments, track academic progress, and prepare students for state-required standardized tests
Establish rules and maintain a safe, positive, and organized learning environment
Adapt teaching methods to support diverse learning styles and special educational needs
Partner with parents, guardians, and school staff regarding student growth and behavioral development
