Job Description

Chesapeake Montessori School in Annapolis, Maryland is seeking a part-time staff member to support the school's Elementary After-School Program from 3 PM to 4:30 PM, Monday through Friday, for the 2026-2027 school year. Qualified candidates must be at least 16 years of age and have experience working with children.

Essential Functions:

Provide care and oversight to students, including a daily snack as well as indoor and outdoor play. Plan and implement developmentally appropriate activities for students in collaboration with team members. Maintain health and safety standards that promote high quality care for children as prescribed by the Maryland Department of Education and Office of Child Care. The successful candidate will be required to maintain First Aid and CPR certification and participate annually in required CEU training approved by the Maryland Department of Education and Office of Child Care.
